Food
I have been cooking since I was a child. My parents immigrated to Canada from Italy just before they had me, and I was raised in their cultural tradition—in which food is nothing less than life itself: how you nourish your body, build relationships, and make a living. My father's vegetable garden is a marvel; my mother's cooking is masterful. Over the years, I've taken a cooking course, amassed a sizeable cookbook collection, consumed days' worth of cooking shows, and pilgrimaged to countless kitchens to sample some particular magic. Now, I've embarked on another food adventure: I have started a small-batch prepared food business specializing in the handmade pasta, sauce and lasagna of my ancestors. It's called CALABRIA kitchen, and I’ll be happy to take your order if you email me.
